Joshua S. Bednar, D.D.S., M.D., understands that for many patients a dental appointment is a stressful experience. His goal for every visit is to ease that stress while providing state of the art oral surgical care at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

A proud Golden Gopher, he attended college and dental school at the University of Minnesota. He went on to complete medical school and his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the world renowned Mayo Clinic, where the institution’s primary value was instilled in him: the needs of the patient come first. That value shaped his philosophy of care and drives his daily practice.

After a six year residency, he returned to the community where he grew up and joined Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which reflects his commitment to the highest standards of patient care and to lifelong learning.

Outside the office, Dr. Bednar enjoys time with his wife and two young children. He also loves traveling, being outdoors and cooking.
